Dr. Le is a native of Vietnam, but his family moved to the United States when he was six years old. Often self-conscious about his smile growing up, he believed that pursuing a career in dental medicine would allow him to become an advocate for patients’ oral health and help them avoid many of the same problems he experienced as a child.
After graduating with high honors from Nova Southeastern University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine, he completed his training at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Fayetteville, AR. There, he honed his skills in implant surgery and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, hard and soft tissue grafting techniques, and managing medically complex individuals.
Once finished with his residency, he earned a certification in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and became a part of the Carlson Dental Group.
Dr. Murray is a dentist near San Marcos who possesses more than 27 years of experience but remains dedicated to pursuing continuing education to further hone his skills.
As a child, he suffered from chronic earaches and was eventually diagnosed with bite misalignment that resulted in TMJ and muscle dysfunction. After being referred to an orthodontist, he received treatment for his bite, which also helped to stop the ear pain. Because of his experience, he wanted to pursue dentistry to help others who might be in a similar situation.
After completing dental school at the University of Maryland at Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, he went on to attend a General Practice Residency at the Reading Community General Hospital. Refining his skills by working with multiple doctors and specialists, he remains active in many different professional organizations.
I've found the perfect dental office! Wonderful people who LISTEN and design the best program for you. The cutting edge technologies are obviously a huge plus, but the people make Carlson the gem that it is. A strong mixture of talent, personality, and positive attitudes, they quickly remove any stress or fear you have. This was the only dental office I have ever visited that was truly "pain free" and their continued concern with my comfort was very reassuring. Do you need another reason to visit? How about one of the best I can think of: they employ multiple veterans and civil service families. Support our troops and support Carlson Dental Group in Riverside. Your teeth will thank you!

Of course, we know your schedule might be busy, or some prefer to research online first. Still, our team wants to ensure patients feel comfortable and confident about their dental care before even stepping through our doors. That’s why we’ve gathered some of our most commonly asked questions as well as their answers!
This will typically involve a combination of factors. Firstly, you’ll want to consider things important to you such as location, hours, credentials, safety, payments and fees, insurance, and cleanliness. You also need to know the kind of treatments you’re interested in or require. Do you want to enhance your teeth with cosmetic dentistry? Are you in need of emergency dentistry or of replacing a missing tooth with dental implants? Do you simply need to schedule your next checkup and cleaning? Lastly, try to get a feel for your dental team to see how they treat their patients. At our practice, we strive to provide personalized care to meet each patient’s dental needs. You can even read our team bios to learn a little more about each member's background and experiences for more insight.
As one of the ideal ways to replace missing teeth, you’ll need to consider two major things when choosing the right dentist for you. Keep in mind that dental implants typically consist of two stages: placement and restoration. The question for you is whether you want to undergo treatment between two practices or work with a single dentist. Unlike many other offices, our team can provide dental implants near San Marco in a single location, as we can place the metal posts ourselves. Dr. Khoi is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology while Dr. Murray is part of the Academy of Osseointegration, meaning you can be sure to receive the highest quality of care for this procedure.
If you suspect you’re experiencing an urgent dental situation, then you should call our team for emergency treatment right away. However, if your condition is life-threatening, such as difficulty breathing/swallowing or a broken jaw, then call 911 instead and/or head straight to your nearest ER. They might not have a dentist on staff but they can at least provide antibiotics and stabilize your situation until you can get dental treatment. At our practice, we offer same-day and evening appointments, and we even welcome walk-ins so that patients can get the care they need at a moment's notice. Remember that many emergencies stem from underlying issues that can be avoided early on, so make sure to visit your dentist regularly to save yourself time, money, and trouble.
Firstly, remember that preventive dentistry is the best way to save on treatments in the long run. However, situations can happen at any moment, so you’ll want to be prepared. If you have dental insurance, you can typically have a certain percentage of restorative care covered by your provider, whereas preventive dentistry is typically covered entirely. If you aren’t currently insured, you can try signing up for CareCredit financing, which can turn the cost of your treatments into monthly, low-to-no-interest installments, or our in-house membership plan that can provide discounts with just one low annual fee.
