Thanks to our technology, we’re able to provide care that is consistently fast, comfortable, and effective, and it’s only getting better as the years go by. We continually invest in our dental office so we can bring the latest advancements to our patients and help them get what they need in record time. You’ll be amazed at everything we’ll be able to accomplish at a single appointment, so we invite you to schedule one today!
Powerful cameras are becoming smaller and smaller, which is why we can now use one that’s hardly bigger than a popsicle stick to take high-resolution photos of your teeth and gums during your checkups. This approach allows us to examine your mouth more thoroughly compared to a visual exam, plus we can show you exactly what we are seeing to make your appointments more transparent and educational. With this instrument, you’ll always be on the same page as your dentist.
While traditional dental X-rays are great for looking at one particular part of the mouth, if we need to see ALL of someone’s dental anatomy at once, that’s when we like to use our cone beam scanner. It’s able to create a highly-detailed 3D model of a patient’s teeth, jawbones, and supporting structures we can use to plan more involved procedures like dental implant placement. With this kind of image, a successful treatment is all but guaranteed.
Film X-rays are slow, cumbersome, and expose patients to enough radiation that it makes them uncomfortable—which is exactly why we DON’T use them! With digital X-rays, we can capture crystal-clear images in a matter of seconds, all the while emitting 90% LESS radiation compared to regular X-rays. We can even show you your own images right after taking them so you fully understand everything that is going on with your oral health.
Instead of having a patient bite into a mold filled with odd-tasting dental putty to take an impression, we can now scan their teeth with a small device that completes the entire process digitally. In a matter of minutes, we have a perfect digital impression we can use to design someone’s treatment. These higher-quality impressions not only save time, but they ensure a better final result as well.
Laser dentistry has truly changed the game when it comes to oral healthcare. Now, we can use dental lasers to painlessly treat gum disease, fix cavities without any drilling or injections, perform comfortable root canals, and even treat sleep apnea. Every procedure with the laser is extremely comfortable, so much so that most patients don’t even need local anesthetic. Plus, it naturally sanitizes an area as it works, leading to a quick and easy recovery.
Our patients certainly appreciate it when we use sedation to make their appointments more comfortable, but you know what they don’t like?—the injection that’s necessary to get it! That’s why we now use The Wand™, which administers a sedative so slowly and evenly that a patient basically feels nothing right before they feel nothing! It also allows us to use just the right amount of sedative so that once a patient’s appointment is over, they aren’t stuck for hours waiting for it to wear off.
